If I buy a bonsai tree as a Xmas present, do I have to water it and keep it in light etc?
How can I save my bonsai tree?!?
So I bought a bonsai tree about eight weeks ago. It's eight years old.I wasn't too happy with it's condition when it arrived some roots were sticking out the soil, which was hard and dry. A lot of leaves had fallen off in transport. Although I have followed the care instructions to the letter, my bonsai tree seems to be dying The leaves are falling off in droves and there are hardly any left on the tree.I don't know if it's beyond saving at this point, but if there's something I can do to bring it around please let me know.This is an indoor bonsai tree.It is a Chinese Elm Bonsai.

Ok so my parents bought me a bonsai tree and the problem is it's not my style it's just not I like a formal type of bonsai not a wavy one I don't want to sound ungrateful I mean its 10 years old an it cost them a fortune but it's just not my type it's got moss and I would prefer for it to have grass even know the moss keeps and controls the moisture you know and to get it strait I would need to cut it and regrow it I am 17 I don't have 10 years to spend with a tree is there a possibility to retrain it to be strait ? Please help me
Juniper bonsai tree care help?
My friend got me a Juniper bonsai tree from the mall for Christmas and I need to know how to take of it. I live in CT and I know bonsais need to hibernate during the winter by putting it outside but it gets really cold here and I'm afraid to put it outside. My house is like 60 degrees F most of the time and its like 20 degrees F outside. How often should I water it? It's really young little and some of the branches are a really light brown like they are dead but they still have green coming from them? Can you guys tell me if this okay and if it's healthy? I'm afraid it may be dying because of the bad care it got from the mall... Any tips for care? I always wanted a bonsai tree and am determined to have it live a long time.

My bonsai tree is about a year and a half old and the inside of it is healthy but on the out side its hard and brittle and it just crumbles off what can I do to fix this or is it natral?
How do i take care of my bonsai tree? is it dead?
so i bought a little very cheap bonsai tree at the LA county fair, somewhere during september or october. i got a bonsai book from the library, and i really didn't learn that much. first of all, im pretty sure my tree is a mame bonsai? like, its really small, and i didn't see a pic of it in the book. and really, i don't know how to care for it truthfully, i barely water it, and im not even sure if its dead. the leaves are green. i scraped the trunk with a key, and it was greenish yellow, which means its alive right? but i haven't done anything to it, like, AT ALL. what am i supposed to do to care for it? any websites on pruning and fertilizing and stuff?
My bonsai tree is dying!?
I'm quite new to bonsai tree growing, and I have been trying my best to keep it alive as it was given to me by someone important. The leaves just keep falling off and I have a feeling that I've over watered it but I don't know I've only had it about a month or two and I just keep feeling like I've failed to keep it alive, is there anything that I can do to try to restore it?

I live in a tropical climate and I was also wondering when can I prune it and when should I water it. Hi,The past month or so i've noticed my boxwood bonsai tree becoming ill looking.Many of the leaves turn half brown then drop off. At the beggining I plucked the bad looking leaves hoping this would stop it but it hasn't. I've also noticed the past few days that a couple of the thinner younger branches have a " dry" withered look feel and all their leaves have dropped off.I wondered if anyone knew what was wrong. It can get bitterly cold in the room it is in, though the tree has not got frost or anything. And as the season develops there is less and less light... Plus a couple months ago I repotted it. Though it seems to be firm standing in the pot. I read that trauma from repotting could cause leaves to drop off but surely it has been going on too long? Ive scoured the interenet but I don't know what is wrong or how to help it. My bonsai isn't very large so i'm worried about it being harmed irreparabley.Thanks in advance
Can I use Safer Insect Killing Soap on my bonsai tree?
I have aphids on my chinese elm bonsai tree and I've tried to get rid of them without chemicals with no luck. Is it safe to use Safer Insect Killing Soap with Seaweed Extract? Or will it harm the bonsai tree? It has a lot of small buds leaves and I don't want to damage it what can I do to get rid of the stupid aphids

What is the lowest temperature a Cherry Blossom Bonsai tree shouldn't be exposed to?
I have one and I want to know what the lowest temperature is that a Cherry Blossom bonsai tree should not be exposed too? Like, I know a juniper bonsai shouldn't be exposed to lower than 49 degrees. So, I need the answer specifically for a cherry blossom one. Thank you.
