Juniper bonsai tree care help?
My friend got me a Juniper bonsai tree from the mall for Christmas and I need to know how to take of it. I live in CT and I know bonsais need to hibernate during the winter by putting it outside but it gets really cold here and I'm afraid to put it outside. My house is like 60 degrees F most of the time and its like 20 degrees F outside. How often should I water it? It's really young little and some of the branches are a really light brown like they are dead but they still have green coming from them? Can you guys tell me if this okay and if it's healthy? I'm afraid it may be dying because of the bad care it got from the mall... Any tips for care? I always wanted a bonsai tree and am determined to have it live a long time.

Ok so my bonsai tree looks dead but on closer inspection ther eis new growth that is green. Is it dead or dormant? I have no idea on how to care for them..pls help thx. The question is is it dormant or dead it's needles look yellow i know i let it dry out but did i kill it?
Bonsai tree care, leaves fallen off.?
Hello, i have a Bonsai tree, had it for about four months, it was doing very well, but i think i over watered it, and the leaves have all fallen off, i have taken it to a local flourist and she has re potted it and told me to water it once a month, the roots are good and the small branches seem strong, i have lightly misted it, ensuring it doesnt get too wet, its out of the draught and in a warmish climate and not in direct sunlight average 15 degrees c i suppose, any advice would be helpfull.

Merry Christmas One of the things that I wanted for Christmas was a bonsai tree, and sure enough I got one I'm worried though because they are so fragile and I really do not want to over under water or harm it in any way. Bonsai Tree care?
My brother got a Bonsai Tree from his girlfriend for Christmas. The tree was doing well for the first few months but around March or so, it started turning brown. Now all it's leaves are brown. None of my family knows about care for Bonsai's so I really need some help. If you have any care tips, please share them. Oh and if this helps, we keep the tree outside right now.No he never did trim it.
