What type of bonsai tree is this?
I bought it about three months ago and I love it, but I'm not 100 % on the care procedures, so I haven't been trimming it anything. Hey there I bought a Bonsai Tree off my local market today after ages of wanting one, and I'm not sure what type of tree it is, any help please? What type of bonsai tree is this?
Just got it a couple of days ago at wal mart. I already ripped off the glued on moss and rocks and flushed the soild pretty good. There was a lot of white liquid coming out when i was soaking it, i figure its either mold juice or glue. here is a picture i56.tinypic.com 2lp4qb.jpg

Is a liqustrum microphylla a good type of bonsai tree?
I have a liqustrum microphylla and dont know if it is a good type of bonsai. Could someone tell me how long it takes to grow until it is bigger. Mine is 4 inches big is that good or bad.

So I bought a Bonsai tree a few months back and was watering it every few days, but then I noticed it was starting to get brittle and my Horticulture major friend told me I needed to water it more. Well I've been watering it more, once a day, and it's still getting more and more yellow brittle. Help please? I went to an activity yesterday and it was being held by some proffesional gardeners and they gave the guests Bonsai trees as gifts, all they told me was to water it once a week and keep it outdoors and a high place so it recieves some type of sunlight. I would like to start caring for a bonsai plant as a hobby, can someone advise me on which type of tree would be a good starter plant? I want to know what type of tree is best to train it to be teeny tiny, I would like it to be 12 inches or less. Even smaller would be great. Also, I would LOVE a variety that produces flowers.This would be a mainly indoor bonsai, though I wouldn't mind bringing it outside for fresh air on nice days.Thank you in advance
